Becoming the Person God Wants You to Be

'Come as you are, become the person God wants you to be' - this is the tagline we adopted last year as a quick description of our congregation's purpose and culture.
We need your answers to two questions!
’Come as you are, become the person God wants you to be’ - this is the tagline we adopted last year as a quick description of our congregation’s purpose and culture. The Christian Education Ministry Team has also adopted this as our theme and purpose for the year. Now we want to know what the Team can offer, through Adult Christian Education, that will help you become ‘who God wants me to be.’ We need your answers to two questions:
Question #1. What do I need in order to become who God wants me to be?
Seems like a pretty deep and personal question? Just give it some thought - what do you want to learn more about, what do you want to experience, in which areas do you want to grow?
Question #2. I’d be more likely to participate in Adult Christian Education if.....
Complete that sentence with information for the Team about formats, times of the day, days of the week, locales, other conditions that would make this learning and growing process more effective for you (e.g., small discussion groups, more formal presentations, DVDs, at-home individual study, hands-on experiences, Sundays, weekdays, daytime, evening, private homes, church grounds, childcare, transportation, etc., etc.)
So, there are two questions to think about, and we’ll give you three ways to respond:
A. Add your thoughts to the feedback newsprint we’ll put up in the Church Narthex; OR
B. E-mail your thoughts to Jan W. (e-mail address in the Church Directory);
OR
C. Spend a few minutes with Jan W. as she buttonholes folks over the next few weeks.
Homework! Well, they don't call it Church SCHOOL for nothing! Thanks for your participation; with your meaningful responses, we’ll plan a variety of education experiences to help us all become ‘the people God wants us to be.’
